Roll 25

Camera: Mamiya C330

Film: T Max 100

Date Developed: 06.06.10

Development: T Max developer, 8 minutes (7m +1m for solution exhaustion) @ 22 degrees, fixed 8 mins

Notes: I had trouble with loading the film today – the first one I just had to lose.  There was no way it was going onto those spools!  Luckily it had nothing of significance on it.  It would be extremely upsetting if that happened to a film I knew had good pictures on it.  I think I really need a bigger change bag.  I have such naturally clammy hands (lovely) and in my tiny little airtight change bag they just make everything clammy and so the little ball bearings seize up straight away, the film gets sticky and soft and torn and it is just very frustrating in general.

This film, on the other hand, I was very happy with.  I keep thinking I don’t like the T Max 100 but I think I actually really do.  I bought a pretty little bunch of flowers today and shot a whole roll of them. I love using the Mamiya for this sort of thing, but the parallax error is somewhat frustrating once you start getting really close.  It all ends up being a bit of guess work as to what will actually make it into the frame.  Still, I was happy with many of the images I managed to get.  Really happy with a few – and that’s a good score for me – I’m usually happy with only one or two   : )
